Stamford Fair came and went again last week and brought with it the perfect excuse to go out and take some pictures. It took over the entire town covering most of the major roads and flowed all of the way down to the Meadows. We spent the evening walking around the whole fair looking for a nice spot to capture the atmosphere and settled on the bridge overlooking some of the larger rides.
This was my favourite shot, taken with my Tokina fisheye at 17mm, f20 for 25 seconds. It allowed all of the lights to come through, it shows the haze starting to set it from the sky and also got some great reflections. It captures the essence of the night along with the scale of the whole thing.
